In the depths of my being lies a story that resonates with love, resilience, and unwavering hope.

My name is Mr. Kingsley K Odigbo the current CEO and Founder of Chetaumuaka Foundation. The roots of my journey can be traced back to the humble village of Umuokoloma with approximately 12,000 inhabitants in the population, nestled within the embrace of Affa in Udi LGA, Enugu State, Nigeria. This enchanting place, though adorned with simplicity, held the treasure of my upbringing and the teachings of life’s profound lessons.
In the embrace of poverty, my parents, brave souls who toiled the land, were unable to furnish themselves with the tools needed for prosperous farming. Our table often bore the weight of emptiness, devoid of sustenance. There were moments when medical care felt like a distant luxury, and the dreams of education crumbled beneath the weight of destitution. I, too, traversed the corridors of hardship, only managing to grace the doors of a primary school. But it was within the depths of this struggle that the seeds of my determination were sown, nurturing my resolute decision to establish schools and provide the children the essential materials for learning, carter for the widows, young girls with unwanted pregnancy by providing safe child
birth. That is not all!

To also provide basic amenities and health care within the limit of her capacity, Including rehabilitation centers. My purpose was clear—to illuminate our community with the light of education and opportunity.

As a child, the mere notion of a toy remained but a distant dream, save for the occasional surprise my mother would bring home in the form of washing soap, the cherished “elephant brand,” which concealed a small treasure within. Yet, even then, my heart knew the joy of giving.
When those miniature delights found their way into my hands, I couldn’t help but pass them long to another child, basking in the glow of their happiness. Little did I know that the path I walked would lead me to the year 2007, when the wind of fate carried me to the vibrant streets of Av Juan II in Sevilla, Spain. It was there, amidst the bustling crowds and the rhythm of life, that my journey took an unexpected turn.
In my hands, I held nothing more than tissue paper, a humble endeavor to make a living.
However, the denizens of Sevilla, with their open hearts and unwavering trust, showered me with love beyond measure. It was during this time that I confided in a dear friend named Fernando Ferrera Hume (lawyer), sharing my vision for the future. His counsel was simple but profound—to pursue my dreams while ensuring a secure footing in the realm of employment. And so, with this newfound resolve burning within me, I found my place in the embrace of Vic Barcelona, where I reside today, guided by the grace of God as I tend to the needs of my cherished family.
The embers of my purpose lay dormant until 2014, when I found myself rummaging through discarded remnants in the streets of Sevilla. Amidst the discarded treasures, I discovered fragments of hope that would soon ignite a profound transformation. Gathering those treasures in my arms, I journeyed back to my ancestral home, my heart brimming with the desire to share this newfound wealth. As I placed these gifts into the hands of the children, their radiant smiles bestowed upon me a love that surpassed all boundaries. It was in that transformative moment that the seeds of ChetaUmuaka Foundation (C.U.F) were sown, blooming forth with boundless compassion and unwavering devotion.
Today, my purpose intertwines with the lives of the vulnerable, weaving a tapestry of opportunity, love, and empowerment. The foundation stands as a beacon of hope, casting its radiance upon the lives of those who yearn for a chance to embrace the transformative power of education. It is a tribute to my humble origins, a tribute to the love that embraced me in Spain, and a
testament to the resolute determination that resides within each and every
